  • Not really, even though it feels like they help, cotton buds usually push wax further in and can make things worse. They can also irritate the ear canal or even damage the eardrum if you go too far.

  • Nope it shouldn’t! We use gentle microsuction, which is considered one of the safest and most comfortable ways to remove earwax. Some people say it feels a bit strange or ticklish, but it’s rarely painful.

  • Yes, please! We recommend using olive oil or wax-softening drops for 2–3 days before your visit. It helps loosen the wax and makes the process quicker and smoother.

  • Microsuction is generally considered safer, cleaner, and more effective than traditional water syringing. No mess, no water pressure just a gentle vacuum that gets the job done.

  • Most sessions take 15–30 minutes from start to finish. If the wax is very soft or stubborn, we might need a little longer but you’ll be in and out pretty quickly.
